Pool Opening Information
-$350 includes system start up, cover removal/fold/ installation of pool accessories. (Ladders, diving boards, jets, handrails) Minor leaks fixed.
-$100 for cleaning at the opening. * See details below.
-$60 for start-up chemicals. ($5 gal liquid chlorine, 1 qt stain/scale)
-Additional charges for gas/propane heaters which I would like to service at opening if applicable. ($20)
-I will not be charging for these pool opening "extras" (pool/spa combos, cable covers, caretaker systems, water bag or block covers)
How to get ready for your opening;
-Please leave cover bags and pool accessories out on or near the pool deck.
-Leave Diatomaceous Earth (DE) out if applicable. (You will be billed for a 24lb box of DE if no DE is available)
-Payments will be due the day of service, please contact me ahead of time for specific estimates.
-If necessary fill the pool water halfway up the tile, or higher (to help with cleaning)
-By this time(03-07-2025) you can unplug pumps that are under mesh style covers to allow the rainwater to add water to your pool.
Customers who scheduled cleaning; The pool will be cleaned the day of opening if the water is clear and water level is high enough. If the pool is green, after chemicals are added you will need to contact me once the pool is clear and you can see to the bottom of the deep end. This may require backwashing for some pools, and I can aid in this process if necessary. This service is up to 1 hour of cleaning, and typically gets the bulk of the debris that your filter/auto cleaner cannot handle. Brushing will cause dirt to cloud the water, and settle back down preventing the pool from being 100% clean in this 1 visit. In some cases additional cleaning will need to be scheduled.
